Zingerman’s

On the road with Jamie and Eddie in Ann Arbor, Michigan, home of the Zingerman’s Deli. A business that truly understands how to live out it’s core values down to the employee level. We were greeted enthusiastically by an employee who immediately offered a sample of Stollen, German Christmas bread. It was delicious. The first sense assalted, though, was the aromas of all the artisan breads, meats, cheeses, and hanging bruchuto.

With walls full of exotic olive oils and vinegars from many regions of Europe and Isreal, we were in a foodie paradise. We sampled 25 year old Basalmic vinegar the consistancy of molasses. Delicious!

The Zingerman brand has integrity.  It walks the talk.

I enjoyed the d-$’s cuban conundrum made with Niman Ranch roast pork, Arkansas peppered ham, Switzerland Swiss cheese, old-fashion dill pickles, mayo & hot mustard on a grilled paesano roll. Un–Be–Lieveable!
