Here are a few good RSS feeds that keep me up late and up to speed on the latest in new media. I’ve enjoyed reading Robin Good’s constantly up to date new media news. Robin Good’s review of Rocketboom was compelling enough to get my attention. A NYC ametuer hip news spoof with a little left wing commentary, and definitely check out her post on July 1st. There’s an advertising model somewhere in all this, but I’m not sure how it will shake out. Content is king. Speaking of content, the NY Times Media and Advertising section is a must subscribe to feed.
Because RSS is so viral, new niche businesses could scream above the noise with clever video content similiar to Congdon’s Rocketboom site. Also, check out the Organic Farmers Association’s parody site “Store Wars“. What a hoot.
